Nifty Futures Update : 19 Jan 2022

The  Nifty Future is trading at 17,946.80 with a loss of -0.98% or -177.60 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 27,487.50 with a loss of  -2.70% percent or -762.50 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,038.00 up with +0.01% percent or +2.00 point.




Indian equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty50 gave up initial gains in a choppy session on Wednesday, amid weakness across most global markets. Losses in financial, IT and consumer shares pulled the headline indices lower, though gains in oil & gas and metal stocks lent some support. Broader markets also weakened, with the Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 gauges down half a percent in late morning deals. Investors awaited more Q3 numbers from India Inc for cues, a day after Bajaj Finance reported an 85 percent jump in net profit to Rs 2,125 crore for the December quarter, beating Street estimates. 


For the day the  nifty closed at 17,933.95 with  a loss of -0.99% percent or  -179.10  point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 27,467.23 with a loss of  -2.80% percent or -790.02 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,058.95 with a loss of -0.22%) or ?53.83 point.




For the day the Dow is trading at 35,368.47  with a loss of –1.51%percent or543.34  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,577.11 with a loss of –1.84% percent or85.74  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 14,506.90 with a loss of 2.60% percent or ?386.86   point.


In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 27,362.88 with a loss of –3.17% percent or894.37   point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,030.70 with a loss of –0.34% ercent or –82.08 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,546.81 with a loss of –0.65% percent or23.11 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 60,277.45 with a loss of –0.79% percent or477.41  point at 12:15 PM.
