The  Nifty Future is trading at 14,359.20 up with +0.11% percent or +16.00 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 29,713.00 with +0.45% percent or +133.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,435.50 with +0.09% percent or +24.50 point.


Indian markets witnessed a knee-jerk reaction that pushed benchmark indices lower by over 3 percent each on April 12 as sentiment turned risk-averse with the unabated rise in coronavirus cases fanning fears of extensive curbs or even lockdowns in the hardest hit states.

The benchmark indices closed below crucial support levels and experts haven’t ruled out a further decline of 4-8 percent but said the fall should be used as a buying opportunity as the long-term trend is intact. They said the country was better prepared this time and the availability of vaccines offered comfort.


For the day the  nifty closed at 14,341.50 up with + percent or +30.70 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 29,751.61with percent or +212.88point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,469.75 up with percent or +16.47 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 33,800.60  up with +percent or +297.03 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,128.80 up with  percent or +31.63 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 13,900.19 up with + percent or  +70.88 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 29,578.26 with  a loss of –percent or ?189.80 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,392.24 with a loss of – percent or –306.56 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,413.12 with a loss of – percent or ?37.56 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 48,101.71  with a loss of – percent or –1,500.44 point at 12:15 PM.
