The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,823.50 up with +0.70% percent or +75.35 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,790.00  up with +0.75%percent or +170.00 point . The Hang Seng Future is trading at 31,071.00  up with   +0.82% percent or +253.00 point.


Stock markets moved gingerly this morning, as the outcome of the G7 summit fanned trade war fears after US President Donald Trump backed out of a joint communiqué. In Asia, Nikkei slipped 0.1 per cent while South Korea’s KOSPI added 0.2 per cent. US’s S&P500 futures were down 0.17 per cent, and the dollar 0.15%.

Dalal Street was counting possible costs to Indian businesses after Trump named the country on his target list for tariff review, accusing it of charging 100 per cent.

India is trying to change governance. The government has just opened up 10 joint-secretary level posts for private sector professionals, who will be hired on a contract basis for up to five years.


 For the day the nifty closed at 10,841.30  up with +0.69%percent or +73.40 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,804.04 up with +0.48% percent or +109.54 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 31,081.19 up with +0.40% percent or +124.35 point. 


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,316.53 up with +0.30% percent or +75.12 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,779.03 up with  +0.31% percent or  +8.66 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,645.51 up with +0.14% percent or  +10.44 point.
